You can choose “managed” as opposed to “unmanaged” WordPress hosting. With unmanaged, the hosting company doesn’t provide anything apart from the server with an operating system. You have to carry out management services including installing WordPress. If you want something complex done, you have to do it yourself or pay for additional services such as site security and backups.
On top of the hardware and WordPress-expertise, a managed host typically includes additional services and features designed to simplify the burden on site owners. (That’s where the “managed” part comes into play.)
